A morning meal rich in protein and fiber helps to control blood sugar, controls your appetite, and reduces urges to snack on sugary and fatty foods later in the day and evening. This helps establish a proper counter-regulatory rhythm to establish appetite control hormones in your body.
A simple serving of -
lox, salmon,
skinless chicken,
a morning shake,
eggs with aside of oatmeal with fruit or whole grain toast.
Now I’m hungry!
A new study also suggests that adolescent obesity could be decreased if teenagers got more sleep! Less sleep discourages physical activity and affects hormones that regulate energy expenditure.
So, no matter how tempting it is to press, “I’m still watching” on Netflix ..
Turn that TV off earlier - and start logging those sleep hours!
